LILLIBROOKE MANOR

The Grade II listed Manor House at Lillibrooke, full of historic charm and character, has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Once derelict and in serious disrepair, the Manor House has been fully transformed—blending original period features with contemporary design to give this historic home a new lease of life.

What began as a structural repair to stabilise and tie back the failing front façade soon evolved into a comprehensive restoration of the entire manor and its wider estate.

The Manor House was carefully stripped back to its core, with damaged elements meticulously replaced or reinstated using traditional materials and techniques in line with best heritage practices. Original fireplaces were preserved, oak floors and panelling were restored, and essential modern building services were integrated with care and precision ensuring the historic fabric remained uncompromised.

Beyond the Manor House itself, the estate underwent a number of significant improvements. An old piggery was converted and extended to provide three luxurious guest suites. An existing tack barn was refurbished into a dedicated bridal preparation suite, while the roofs of several ancillary buildings were replaced. A new scullery was also constructed to support the venue’s operational needs.

The multi-phase nature of the works, carried out over several years, required careful planning and coordination. With Lillibrooke Manor continuing to operate as a live events venue throughout, our construction programme was adapted to minimise disruption—sequencing works around weddings and other events, and installing temporary acoustic measures to protect the guest experience.

This complex and highly specialist project brought together our team of expert craftspeople and heritage contractors, all selected for their deep knowledge of conservation work and traditional construction techniques which was instrumental to the project’s success.

The result is a Manor not only restored but reimagined—a building that honours its heritage while meeting the needs of a modern, high-end venue. Today, the estate offers increased guest accommodation and revitalised event spaces, all while retaining the warmth, character and history that make Lillibrooke Manor so unique. This is heritage restoration carried out with care, expertise, and vision—and a proud example of 360 Living’s commitment to thoughtful, high-quality craftsmanship.
